Note Sorting - Question

How exactly are notes sorted within an envelope?

A few of my characters tend to collect notes (for various reasons) and I haven't managed to figure that out. I saw another post somewhere that seemed to suggest notes are sorted in order of creation - but confirmation or denial of that would be very helpful.

Given that I don't know how notes are currently sorted, is there any way to sort notes myself - through tricks of 'what order I put them in the envelope' or something similar? Even a script or something would be helpful.

It's the same as it was for notes in envelopes. It's sorted by note id, which means more or less the same as the note age.
It's not impossible there will be some change in the future to make it more customizable, but currently possibilities to order notes are rather limited.
Well, maybe it's possible by copying notes in the certain order, but I didn't really try it and I don't encourage to do that.
