Can bangers and mash please be fixed?

Postby Doug R. » Wed Jul 02, 2014 6:08 pm

The recipe calls for potato mash, but this is obviously an error, since potato mash is only used for making alcohol. The proper ingredient is mashed potatoes.

I agree this should be fixed, and I can even fix it myself, but then probably the daily eating rate should be adjusted as well because it probably costs different to make mashed potatoes than potato mash.

200g of potato mash = 3.29 tooled DOW

Mashed potatoes are hard to calculate because of the milk component. If we ignore the milk, then an equivalent in mashed potatoes would be 2861g. The milk presumably would lessen that number (because it makes it more expensive).

Okay, even with the milk, mashed potatoes seem to be cheaper than potato mash, but the majority of the value comes from the meat, so maybe it's not necessary to change the eaten per day rate.

Except potatoes add a density to it, which could lead to a small amount allowing for more fullness?
