I have a character on the road Knatr to Knatr Mountains Northwest on Cantr island.
He has 8758g on his person.
This character was stopped on this road for a long period beforehand at 0%.
He is now walking extremely slow at 2% after the last tick with speed at 100%. The next tick after that he only moved up to 5%.
He is able to talk to his (also walking) two friends when they are at 15% after one tick of walking on this road. They stopped and waited for him. Am I supposed to be able to share events with them so far apart in percentage on the road? Also, the road before this they all walked together at similar pace, now my character is like a snail and they are moving 15% at a time? At this rate he will never see his friends again should they decide to move on and wait in the town they are going towards.
And the weirdest thing is that there are two other people on the road in a car apparently, who one friend pointed out, that I literally cannot see on the people list.
The people in the car are not able to hear my character and vice versa. Their events don't show up to me, but, they do to the friends at 15 %.
Is this a bug or..? Just something weird that happened in the calculations?
EDIT: By the way I have already hard refreshed, cleaned out the cache, and restarted the browser.

If they can see the people in the vehicle but you don't, the people in the vehicle are on the other side of them and too far for you to see. You can still see events of them pointing at them, or whispering to them, but not events initiated by the people in the vehicle. It seems a bit unlikely that someone would move 15% an hour on foot while another one moves 2.5% but it might be possible, I haven't checked the numbers. People move more slowly when they're carrying a lot.

We figured out the slowness. I had no idea strength and carrying weight were involved so much in walking speed! Thank you Seko, for the explanation. False alarm on the bug bit, sorry about that.

Actually strength doesn't affect walking speed, only carried weight does.

Then it is still a mystery to me. It's not that big of a deal though, just thought I'd mention it because it seems weird he was able to easily keep pace on the last road but not this one.

Percentage doesn't matter in seeing people on roads (Or lighthouses while at sea, for that matter). Raw distance, measured in pixels I think, are what determines visibility.
there is/was a short blurb about it in the wiki somewhere.
