Duplicate Character

I finally figured out how to find a list of my old characters and I have found I have a duplicate name. I honestly don't remember how I played the original as in game events could have changed his personality and actions etc, but based upon the name I can be sure that they both started out roughly the same with a tendency to have similar goals. I want to make sure I am not in any violation with this and if so how to rectify it, preferably without killing the new character.

You can simply change his or her name. Problem solved!

I think plenty of players on Here have reused names, even personality templates. As long as there's no CRB (knowing info that another character knew or confusing characters), I don't think it's a big deal.

Okay sounds good. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't in some sort of violation because I forgot I used the name already. He's headed to another town so will give me the chance to change his name.
