Can't Hit

Hi there, don't know if there's a thread for this one. But, a character of mine is chasing another and they cannot hit the person they are trying to. It's been almost three days since the last hit. So... what's going on here? Help?

The game clock was stuck for some while. Since it seems to be working now again, you should be able to hit that person soon, too.
