Okay... how does this work? How does the window appear once you make one? :?

Well... the reason that I ask is that one has been made. However, it cannot be found anywhere :?

I have seen a window in-game. 8)
From the outside it shows on the buildings page, as a blue message under the building name. I don't know how it looks from the inside. My character is not allowed inside that building.

If a window is made in a back room you cannot see it outside, but only in the room directly outside this back room. That might be the case, BC?
I think ...

No... it was built in the main hall. And I have looked in every room connected, from outside in to inside out, and every possible tab for evidence of that window. Nada.

To see the window go to the Object page. There under the building lock you will find it.

Okay... so here's what happened:

We built the window frame first. And it has disappeared. So it cannot be added to the window project. Sorry for the confusion.

(next time I'm hiring a contractor)

Well, the character that sets up the project is the one that gets the result, no matter who works on it. :)

I wish there was a choice, when building a window on an inner room, to either open to parent location or to root location. That way , the room inside could also have a window to the outside..

Edit: There is no obvious connection between an inner room and the root location. It might be possible, but could also create lots of problems.

So, if I build a window in the main room -and- the inner room, will people in the inner room be able to talk with people outside? Or does this only work through one window?

I haven't actually tested this myself, but you would only see people in the immediate parent location I believe.
