Information bar

On Mousehunt, they have an information bar that scroll through announcements. There's a tab on the side to manually scroll forward and back through them, and if you don't use that, it scrolls itself. Might be a nice option for the character page for simple, one sentence announcements (for example: Machine deconstruction is here! Check out the <link>details</link>)

I like this idea, and I think I actually have the code for it from a forum I used to run. There's probably a lot of cantr players who don't use the forum, and this would be a great way to make them aware of new additions to the game.

And also possibly a great way to get them on the forum. The more Cantr players we have on the forum, the better sampling of the community we have.
I know, Captain Obvious here, but still.
