I think almost all food should have to rot. However I think we should allow people to be able to can/salt/dry food and this food does not rot. Canned food could require a steel/tin can and say like 50 g of salt. (has anyone seen how much salt is in salted meat in Cantr? No wonder so many Cantrians die of heart attacks)
Foods like chicken noodle soup and SPAM were both key to allowing people on the move to still receive the nutrients they needed. Furthermore foods like soup and SPAM were stocked up on by survivalist in bomb shelters throughout America during the 1950's and 60's due to their long shelf lives. We should consider adding such foods as SPAM and chicken noodle soup if we implement canned foods.
SPAM is considered by many as a good thing in my country.
