Error: You Cannot View the Events of Other Players!
I frequently receive the above message, often enough to have become pretty disruptive to game-play. Is this due to something I am doing wrong?
Also, one of my characters currently have a project 100% complete but is still working on it. Is this a bug or do I just need to wait for enough project tick?
Thank you!

The second one is as it should be. The char isn't skilled enough to get over 100% on the last tick, but very close.

I find this happens, mostly, when you push the "talk to" button while the page is refreshing or right before it refreshes.
That's just me, though.

Yeah, I reported this in the same thread the msql error thingies are at. There was talk of increasing the refresh time but.. nothing yet.

For statistical purposes, I'm going to say I get this all the time.. really annoying, logs me out of the character and 1 out of 10 times, I'll lose what I said too.

I am right there with you, returner. Very annoying to say the very least. So now I write long posts on notepad and transfer it over.

It has happened a few times for me now when putting a name and description on characters. And I lose everything I wrote. Seriously annoying.

That's the only time it really bothers me.
Getting kicked from the event page isn't as traumatizing because I still have the habit of typing things up in notepad from when we were on a time limit.

Been happening to me at various times. Also note copying isn't working sometimes.

I only get that message if I press the back button on my browser rather than the back button on the page

Ah that sucks. One thing you can do, is write up a big message in the Cantr box and then press 'Ctrl+A' and then 'Ctrl+C', which as you probably know will copy everything incase you lose it.
Saves you having to open up notepad each time

I've just tried 12 times to name a character before I finally gave up because it wouldn't let me and I always got the error message that I cannot view the events of other players. Before that one it took me 6 times to name another character. It's not possible to play properly like this... *sigh*

WHOA! O.O I've never had it do more then once. How much information you putting into the name category that would allow time for the refresh rate to hit? O.o

Re: Error: You Cannot View the Events of Other Players!
It was just a name (first and last name) of average length plus (<CANTR CHARDESC>) because I like to have the age and gender information right behind the name... I've seen females be called "he" and males be called "she" too often.
But adding CANTR CHARDESC never caused problems so far, I've also named two other people successfully before the problems were occuring. Oh, and I used copy&paste for the name, so I guess it didn't take 5 seconds to fill it in and send it.
