A few questions

I suppose this is a split from the thread topic, linked above.

1-Why are the Polish spawning IN the English regions? If they know the way over, then shouldn't they just maintain their path over by passing it on IG?

2-If they're spawning in English towns, how are people telling them apart if they speak English?

3-Shouldn't it be that they can't speak polish unless learned in game?

I thought anyone spawned in the English areas should speak only english.

1.) Every place with at least two Polish chars can recieve a Polish newspawn.

2.) Not at all, but if they speak English without learning it first they commit a CRB.

3.) No, since they are Polish it's the other way round, they are not supposed to speak English unless learned in game.

forgive me...let me get this... I'm lost...

If a Polish character (that no one knows is Polish) is Spawned in an English area and speaks only English is a CRB? (unless they learned it IG)

*English and Polish are only an examples, any region could be used provided the player has knowledge of both languages*

lol Like a hostile take over?
:) Honestly I'm not racist, I hate everyone equally.
Seriously though, it all just makes no sense to me. If you can't tell a character is Polish when spawning in English region and they've spoken nothing but English... how can you tell there's a CRB there? Only the player with the different lang. interface would know...

This is exactly the problem we were having lately. If you choose Polish as a characters language that's the only language he knows from the beginning, regardless of where he spawns. There is no such thing as an English area, only an area where English characters live. If you suddenly decide to speak an other language than the one you chose before spawning, you would still be, for example, a Pole "genetically" and attract Polish newspawns. Newspawns that did neither expect nor choose to arrive in an area mostly populated by foreigners.

You can't tell. It's a CRB none the less though.

Thanks for clarification.

If somebody spawns in a predominantly English region after selecting for example Polish and knows enough English to get along, they can contact support using the contact form and let us know you want to make your character English, so I can switch the language in the database. You can already start speaking English before the change is made, but your character mustn't understand or speak the other language they were originally spawned in, and you should contact support straight after making the decision about switching languages.

If you have already initially spoken another language and only decide to switch languages afterwards, that's more problematic since other people have already heard you speaking another language. Then we prefer that you didn't suddenly pick up a second (or alternative) language. Instead you should rp learning it in-game. If you can't find any dictionary notes or a person who would be willing to teach you, you can start repeating words and short phrases your character learns and either figure them out from context or someone will figure out you want to learn and start teaching you, or at least saying yes, that's right or no, that's wrong. Only if you're like "if I have to stay like this, I won't even try, it's totally unfair I ended up here and didn't know it's a foreign town until after I'd spoken" then I suppose I could switch your language and you can attribute the initial talking to being confused after spawning or claiming not to remember such a thing happened.

So a recommendation, since the spawning system is what it is, you should check the names of the buildings and the notes on the ground, maybe spend some time listening to people before opening your mouth, unless you're the kind of a player who's ready to stick to one's original choice even if it made the game more difficult or lead into encountering discrimination.

Didn't want to start a separate thread as this ones title seemed appropriate...

New Question: The suggestion topics... Particularly the accepted and possibly the rejected topics - should we still add our two cents to the things pending implementation as they aren't implemented and not all locked.
-As for the rejected section, I understand the non-locked threads to be like so because the suggestion isn't liked as is. I'm basically asking if they're still open for debate and ideas in their respective Topics.

You may "bump" threads in Accepted.... I'm not sure about Rejected.

To "bump" is to "post" in resolved topics?

If you have a new suggestion for how to handle a rejected suggestion, it should be posted in a new topic and specify how it differs from the old suggestion and what makes it worth considering. Accepted suggestions usually don't need to be discussed more unless they're something vague like the children and families topic, in which case if you have a revolutionary change, it's also better to start a new topic.
