Just thinking while I was sitting here bored. I was thinking how easy it was to become an expert in a skill. You can even spawn and be as good as a 70 year old. I searched and I didn't find anything on it already so here I go.
Why not create a skill level after expert. Like legendary or some crap like that. It would need to be something that you can't spawn as. So if it was in cooking, you might spawn as an expert cook, but you'd have to cook for a long time before it go up to legendary, which of course would be fairly better.
Any questions? or yu can make fun of my suggestion if you'd like. It's kind of a sudden thought, not sure if I missed anything that'd make me look stupid.
Another skill level?

Creating a new skill level is somewhat like introducing the A*, it doesn't address the key issues.
The problem is that a newspawn can spawn with more skill at something than someone who has utilised that skill for years. It is not easy to level up skills (I've never manager to get a character up more than one skill level), so what you spawn with tends to be what you get.
I maintain, still, that no one should spawn with expert skill. By making it somewhat feasible to train your skills, and removing the idea that chars can automatically be an expert at something they've never done before (a concept which really makes no sense), you'd have your new level without affected whatever equilibrium we already have.

I agree that no newspawn should be spawned expert. I think skills at spawning could follow more of a Gaussian curve rather than being divided equally, and the peak could be around novice instead of efficient. But training fighting should still be addressed, since it's currently bloody awful. You simply cannot train it efficiently.

People just have to give up on working on projects. If they don't work on projects, and instead just attack a whole lot of people with a waster daily, it'll go much faster at the cost of projects. I kind of like that (unless you don't gain experience when tired). But for all other projects it is far too slow.
