Turn Off Lighthouses
Do you think lighthouses should be able to be turned off?

That's what I was trying to post when the server shat itself.
There could be a way to fuel it with gas, oil, or wood (i don't know if coal fire would be able to burn brightly enough but if it does then great) and either it would be a one hour project to set up the fire, which burns for a certain length of time depending on the amount of fuel used, or maybe a constant project, OR a depletion thing where you start the project and you put the resource in the room, where it continues to disappear until it runs out.

You can get a wood fire pretty bright if you set it up right...and for a long time
Gas could be more efficient, as gas fireplaces burn hot and produce nearly no smoke to obscure the brightness of the flame. They are also cheaper and more efficient than any other heating method out there tod--sorry about that, the gas fireplace salesman took over my mind for a second, but then he succumbed to the madness and was lost forever

with the hopeful new age of the enforced society cming into the game(yes i am all for it) then maybe being the lighthouse keeper could become a full time job.needing other's to supply fuel and food to that person to keep the light house going.
man in his twenties says" so what do you do "
you say "i'm the light house keeper"
man in twenties says" well with you out here i can see why the light house has gone out"
you say " oh crap"
you enter light house seeing 0 people
hehe

they should be fueled, but when I see cars moving magicly without fuel it is even worse...
new idea about light... how about making day and night? and then... if in city is lack of electricity and lamps, then no one would see if someone takes something from the ground, etc... and there would be unsafe... so everyone would go hide inside some closed building... (and buildings should have light too, or windows??)
You hear someone take something from the ground
You say: "hey, don't take this'
You hear someone hurt someone using sabre
...and torches can be added then...
now I have idea about playing blind character...
