Boat docking, but not moveing.

right, so I have a boat... and... well you saw my title, so help me out then!

What do you mean, not moving? Boats don't move while they're docking.

it dosen't have the tail thing behind my dingy. and it's really close to the dock, and it still hasn't docked.

or am I just all confusled again?

The Location page tells you how close to docking you are. It's not linear but once it gets to over 70% you ought to get there next tick. Boat ticks are about an hour realtime before the project tick.

I couldn't tell you if my boat is moving or not cos it's in open sea. Landtravel however is easy to keep track off, the traveltick at about 15:00 wasn't counted.
I was also shifting some resources about and got "invalid argument SQL errors" all over the place, as i did more it grew worse but when i logged out and back in it was fine again.
