"Show Animal Events" button
Can we have a button that shows animal-related events?
There aren't many events right now, I know- but- some suggestions for events include:
-When animals leave, what and how many (like we just had a powerful animal leave, and didn't even know about it)
-When animals arrive, what and how many
-In future, animal predators that attack animal herbivores, this could be listed as an event
-We could even include events where Cantriians hunt animals
-When domestication comes, it would show domestication-related events
So this suggestion has more future-potential than current-potential but perhaps this could also be a thread for suggestions related to improving the current animal system? (considering it's one of the only 'AI' in Cantr)

No one agrees or disagrees? No one is even confused?

The amount of animals departing and arriving is enormous, and detailing those would consume quite a few lines. I crunched a few numbers just to give you an idea. First of all, I will start out by saying that I don't know how fast animals travel, so for these calculations I assumed that the animals could travel an average road in 5 days. Over two thirds of all animals are on the road at any given point in time. That means that given those assumptions, that on the Cantr island each location would have an average of 34 animals arriving each day and 34 animals leaving. They have a chance of leaving town somewhere between 2 and 8 times a day (I don't really know), so those packs of animals would reduce the events somewhat but they would still constitute a huge number of events.

Oh, ok.. Thanks for the response, I can see now that this has zero merit.

We could group arrivals and leavings, and have the animals all leave an arrive at the same set point in cantr time.
I agree.
1868-7.13: You see 6 rabbits arrive from "location"
1868-7.13: You see 2 hawks arrive from "location"
1868-7.13: You see 1 wild boar leave for "location"
1868-7.13: You see 7 rabbits leave for "location"
and of course only when event filters are added if ever.

Either way works for me. I would prefer a filter.
He he. First time quoting myself.
Would be nice to, I know I know already suggested, be able to decide what events that you would see.
I could deal with,
Show animal events, character attack animal and animal attack charcater events
Show building events, characters entering and leaving buildings
Show character attack events
Show character pick up, drop events
Show docking/undocking events
And the like buttons.
Whole lotta buttons though.
So uhm... Filter.

Someone resuggest this-
A button called 'Filter'.
Next page after clicking it has a list of checkboxes.
You can tick things such as, 'whispers', 'picking-up', 'entering buildings', 'entering vehicles' events etc, and so on.
Simple as that.
However, I'm not sure how each event is programmed, if it is even named with a prefix such as that.

I think it would be better to have some checkboxes near the Filter button on the Events page, so each time the user clicks on the button, the filter defined by the checkboxes are applied. Thus, you need only one page load (and not two) each time you change the filter settings.
