Slow Slow Slow

I bet you're sick of me saying this...

...but can the game staff assure me they're doing their best to address the problem of this game being so slow to load?

I have various people I'd like to recommend this game to, but they're used to pages that load quickly, and I just can't recommend Cantr to them while it takes this long.

Once again this evening (and it happens _every_ evening (GMT)) something that should take me 4 minutes is taking me over 30... I want to be able to play this game because it takes less online time than the one I played before. At the moment, it takes the same amount of time due to the lag on loading pages.

Time runs slowly in Cantr, which should mean I have more free time as I don't have to play 24/7 in order to keep up, which I love. Unfortunately, I still have to play 24/7 just to wait for the pages to load.

I know it's a free game, and I know I'm free to go elsewhere and all that. But at the same time, presumably you want all the players you can get. I'm sticking around for now, but in effect you're losing the players that I refuse to recommend this to.

It's up to you, of course, what (if anything) is being done. But every time I have to apologise to my girlfriend for spending too long on the computer because I'm waiting for pages to load is another step closer I get to deleting my account. Which would be a damn shame, because I thought I'd finally found a game that was good and would keep me involved for many months to come.

I've got an idea. See when you log in, there's a button that says donate to Cantr. Maybe you could donate(granted that it is up and running long enough to do so) After enough donation, possibly Jos will be able to buy a better server to run Cantr on and eliminate all lag.

I tend to donate to games based on how much enjoyment I get from them... which of course means the more lag, the less enjoyment, the less I want to donate... I guess that's a bit mean, eh.

Ok, seeing as I have been playing for a few months now, I am going to donate a dollar each month for each character I enjoy playing. At the moment, a third of my characters I don't enjoy playing because the lag too slow. So there's an incentive to speed things up.

btw: Just noticed a thread in one of the other languages called "Laaaaaagiiiiiiiiiii" Does that mean what I think it means?
