Check double talk/extreme knocking
Minor change...
Either:
Have a 2 sec gap between accepted requests from any one source
(so someone can't hammer-click the knock button 20 times, but players can still knock reptitively and clicking the 'talk to all' button repetitively doesn't double/triple/etc. post)
Or
check that the event produced from clicking 'talk to all' is not exactly the same as the most recent one for that location.
Or some better mechanism I haven't thought of to stop many-times talking and stop the ease of excessive knocking.
(I don't mind a character knocking 30+ times in a row, I would justlike to think it's because the player worked to do most of it, rather than hammering the mouse button in the few seconds it takes to process a request)

I'm not supporting it.

As long as it doesn't stop you from picking up several items in a row without waiting for the page to load.
It's really awkward when people post the same thing twice and then go back to correct themselves. It would be ok if this thing only went for talking, but if it would prevent flooding with knocking then that would be good as well.

Nice idea. It would be helpful.

*Crosshair Cackles* Soon my greyed out minions will spread to take over all the buttons in the universe! *Crosshair gives an evil laugh that would get about 8/10 in an Evil Laugh competition*

You still could write in the "back" page. I mean, you write something, push the 'talk to all' button (or just Enter) and then push the browser's back button, and Enter again, and back...
That is what I do when making several items of the same type.
