No, I don't want to see the play that you won free tickets to with our son (who is too busy to go anyhow), nor do I want to see it by myself. I want to see it with YOU! Why bother even telling me you won these things if you don't want to go?

Dear Wife,
No, I don't want to see the play that you won free tickets to with our son (who is too busy to go anyhow), nor do I want to see it by myself. I want to see it with YOU! Why bother even telling me you won these things if you don't want to go?

Perhaps to hear from you that you don't want to see the play without her? (Respectively, to know what you're thinking at all, in case her mind read isn't working properly. ^^)
Pretty in pink.

Oh, don't worry, I did tell her, and got branded as "grumpy" in return. I don't believe in mind-reading, either, another thing I tell her, that I would rather have her tell me what's bothering her, rather than having to guess. I admit I'm flawed, but I can't change what I don't know is causing friction.

I have a practical test tomorrow, it means being the chef for a day. The goal is to have everything ready by 10:45 and start assembling dishes. We start at 8 but in the beginning it takes a while to explain the menu and to figure out who's going to do what.

Re: Thought or Rant of the day!!!
One stupid little mistake and everyone at work found out about my miscarriage. (I don't see the point in hiding it now) Not only did I lose my "good reputation", now everyone looks at me like I'm gonna break in front of their eyes. And well, I was raised to be strong no matter what. So those looks annoy me and piss me off (not to mention they're also incredibly embarrassing).
I just want to scream right now.

My test went okay but it could've gone better. I still need more practice.
I read an article once about how common miscarriages are and I was surprised by the figures. I wonder why it's such a taboo.

Re: Thought or Rant of the day!!!
Calculus test, football game against the town rivals, and it's middle school night (7th and 8th graders from two of the local MSs; we're expecting >50 from one of them), and we're having another cold front today.
Ew.
Edit:
So, I just learned that the middle schoolers are being assigned to high school mentors. I have five kids. I'm the ONLY one with five kids, and depending on who we get from the other middle school (a third not mentioned previously, and their director is bad at relaying info) I could get more. As it currently stands, I have the most kids already.
I envy the freshmen so much right now.
Ew.

That means you are the best, Snickie!
My car better be fixed by 2PM, or I won't be able to have it fixed before Shabbat, and my kid needs it for his road test on Tuesday. And I'm reasonably certain all that it needs is for the airbag light to be reset, which will cost me $100 to find out.
Rant 2: well, paid the downpayment on our roof repair. Total will be over $5K. On top of the $7K we paid this summer for a new AC, and $550 for a new gas valave for our furnace. Gad!!! Homeowning is expensive. So, I can't justify going to a Scrabble tournament this weekend for $50.

Re: Thought or Rant of the day!!!
I've been feeling a bit down for at least two days, partially because I've decided to let one of my older characters die off if things don't change. But I apparently slept for 14 hours last night and now I feel much better.
Edit: Now I feel awful again.
Edit2: I've decided not to go through with it after all.

Another competition today, so I won't be on Cantr much if at all. This one is different from previous ones in that it's FBA and not FMBC. If we get straight superiors, we begin the process of qualifying for a Crushar award. Yay!
