Things that annoy or puzzle you about Cantr

I noticed many chars are talking about things a cantrian can't know and I am staying silent to not be rp police,though it is slightly disturbing me at times.

Do it! Question those otherworldly people... I would..

Why wouldn't there be a moon in Cantr? Or maybe four moons? What's wrong with characters seeing a moon? Or howling at it?

But then again, I only have one character who sees the moon... and he's a nutter.

I didn't see such a char,but I'd wish...My char would gladly howl with him/her

I'll let stuff like that go if I think it's a one-off (I can't be sure I've never brainlessly mentioned something like that myself when I wasn't thinking very hard), or something that could sensibly have a Cantrian equivalent. When my character found a dictionary with all sorts of stuff like telephones and I think pregnancy in I removed those references before he brought it back for his village, along with a couple of things like marriage that could exist in Cantr but the character had never encountered, as if he just got rid of the bits that he didn't even understand in English.

I hate how one of my characters, everyone mispells her name. Even after she just introduced herself to a newspawn or traveller. Its irritating.

I dont like finding notes in OOC.

PD deletes those when reported right? I've been keeping some separate with that goal.

Edit: to clarify, I don't mean event logs but references to ooc things. (Usually trolls and internet language.)

Its just annoys me because they could easily cut out the "you see" part and they would be fine.

Ooh, yeah, lazy cutting and pasting as journals or witness statements are annoying... Even moreso when they're treated as unquestionable by the author because it's an 'event log', and they don't always understand that it doesn't actually count as absolute proof because they wrote it down.

But seriously I've used them for in game scams before, even the authorities can be super gullible about that sort of thing. One day I'm hoping to use it to fake a last rich will and testament and then to post that in the achievement thread . Now to wait for the town leader to die!

I usually submit personalized conversations (though I do use event logs with the specific time deleted and the day kept for basic IG record keeping) as evidence in a "trial" but the justice system seems to take them less seriously. Sometimes you just gotta fight fire with fire to survive.
