Re: Character images
I have a char that looks pretty much like this:

It didn't occur to me until he got his top hat.

Pimptastic Echoman.

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.
I am so clever that sometimes I don't understand a single word of what I am saying.

It's rather dark, but then that's Nathair for you.
I'm really only good with photomanips, could anyone help me with a painting/drawing for another one of my characters? I'm terrible at it.
Okay I know this was posted so long ago, but I have to say, that seeing this image -before- meeting the character made things pretty wicked for me. When I did meet the char IG I was like wow! I know what she looks like, and in my head was matching up the descript with everything in the picture I remembered. It was nice and a change of pace to have such a clear cut picture like that. So I had to quote and write

Re: Character images
Back when I saw the picture, I figured it was pretty creepy, but when I saw the character in-game and read her description and heard the way she talks, it's much creepier.

I like Nathair, because she's simple and easy to play. She doesn't really need to worry about anyone's opinion of her, and nobody minds if she sleeps for a year. She's one of two characters that are stopping me from unsubbing atm.

I'd like to have the drawing of one of them, above all... I'm thinking on paying a professional...

Re: Character images

Maveri and Coventina - I've been wanting to draw them together for a while but previous sketching attempts have lead to failures. I didn't mean to make it that sad but sometimes pixels seem to happen to form combinations that work, so trying to change it would most likely just make it worse. Colors are more symbolic than anything since Cantr doesn't have dyes.

Re: Character images
I've always imagined Maveri as being a bit shorter than that.
I drew a small sketch of Coventina's head a few weeks ago because we weren't doing anything during math....it was a fail because it's on lined paper. I remembered the cotton skullcap thing and the glasses, though. Oh yes, and I'm pretty sure I also made the nose a little too big and low on the face (though you don't notice the latter quite as much due to the glasses).
Maybe I'll post a picture if I receive enough requests or if I happen to feel like it.
