Well knowing that this is going to happen, maybe there is some kind of letter that can be given to you. Maybe someone would make an exception.. especially with it being so late in the year to find out that officially the school will close. I'm not sure if another school will but it's worth a try.

Yeah, don't really need a letter. All the Jewish schools are quite aware of what's going on. But of course they all have their own logisitcal nightmares to figure out (do we need more staff? more classrooms? more funding for tuition assistance?). Whatever happens this coming year, it's going to be a real jury-rig of a result, I'm sure.

My trouble tonight is minor compared to yours. It's my first time away from my daughter, and it feels like the end of the world. I feel so empty and lonely, even though I'll see her on Wednesday. *sigh* Quite a shock to my system not having the bedtime reading and giggles.

though im sure my sis would be thrilled to end it that way....

my twin has always hated me over past issues.. i was always the one to try and continue things, calling her, texting her, etc etc.
but this after being pushed off for three years...and seeing her unexpectedly yesterday...and the fight that ensued....

i decided to halt my efforts.

have only seen the woman twice in three years by her choice. had maybe a dozen phone calls in that time...MAYBE.
it always hurt me...the fact that she would ignore my calls, block me on facebook...basically give me all the signs that she wants nothing to do with me.

but hearing EXACTLY what she thought of me yesterday, and her practically saying she wishes i had no part in her life..that we dont talk or communicate in any way...

thats what i mean about the relationship ending. guess im supposed to pretend she doesnt exist and vice versa.

Had a similar fallout with my sister almost a decade ago. Since then, she's gotten over her issues, to some extent, and we're attempting some sort of friendship. I'm actually going to be visiting her this weekend. So, here's to hoping.

Best one can do in such situations is just hope the other person grows the eff up. If they don't want you in their lives, not much to be done for that. At least you can say you tried.

Randomness for the Day: I've had a pretty good day. Got a lot done as far as packing and such goes at the house. Also took in the Canucks v Predators game at the bar this afternoon. Sorta made me miss hockey and want to catch a game sometime. Maybe next time I'm off of work for a while? Heh.

Going back tomorrow to hopefully finish up the house and meets the claims guy. After that, should be done, hopefully. A full day of slacking off awaits me and then a weekend with my sister. Looking forward to getting a lot of reading done, and probably my defensive driving class to have my ticket dismissed

Just came to the realization that I have really stupid relationships. My entire friendship with this individual is apparently a nefarious plot, unspoken battle, if you will, to get me to say something about loving this individual.
I was all like, fts, I'm going to bed. The end of the conversation went as follows:

Also, in similar news, my niece apparently demanded to know why my mother had assaulted a clown and stolen his pants....
