I think that after the amazing weekend we spent together, my 360 misses me. I woke up 5 mins before 6am being terribly confused as to why. 5 mins later, I hear a noise of something turning on. I assumed it was my laptop (for some reason, it was reasonable for my laptop to turn itself on). Only to find out when I got up that my laptop is still quite off and there's an eerie green glow coming from my entertainment center. I open the doors and my 360 is on and ready for game play.....
So, I gave in to it's call. I enjoyed it. Felt a little bad since it made me run late this morning but it was ohsogood.

Hah. When I mentioned this incident to my mom, she pointed out that I sleep with the wireless controller in bed with me. True, but the controller wasn't on, kind of a requirement for turning the system on.
Either way, probably the best wake up I've had

Wow, can honestly say that's never happened with mine...
To be fair, this is the first time my 360 ever randomly turned itself on, too.

But, good to know it's not just my gaming systems that miss me

Yes, that's correct. If it's connected to the web, the glowing blue light coming from the Wii means it's downloading/uploading stuff.... which reminds me.. apparently my kids broke the nunchuk, and I have to buy a new one. Also, my Wiisports disk is shot. Too bad.. I really liked it

My mom's printer will (out of nowhere, when her computer is off) start making noises, like ready to print noises, and it freaks me out because my brain immediately jumps to the fact that it's possessed and since it's 4 feet away from me when I'm at my computer, that's a problem.
So I unplugged it. She might be confused and then mad when she gets back but she hardly ever uses it anyway.

Also...I'm think I'm ODing on The Office. I've watched Seasons 1-6 over the past couple of days and I started to lose interest after Delivery: Part 2.
The absolute end of Company Picnic, though...I would watch that 10000 times. :]

Today has sucked harder than anything could possibly suck...

I strongly dislike my family attorney. He's utterly ineffectual and doesn't know what the eff he is doing. Thankfully, though, we're almost done and after this Monday, I don't have to deal with him, at all. Ever.

He gave me exactly 24 hours to fill out 25pages of forms and get them to his office. I will spent 9 hours (generally office hours for him) out of town and in school. After which, I'll be at work. Really, mother****er?
Argh.
Then, to top it off, the forms I was sent have absolutely nothing to do with my damn case. I was sent forms pertaining to a divorce. This has absolutely NOTHING to do with a divorce, which I pointed out to his assistant and she said I should still do what she said anyway.

So I get to miss what's likely to be a full day of classes, which includes a quiz and a paper to be turned in, because of this crap.

Furthermore, it was brought to my attention that the court date is actually Monday, the 28th, and not in late April or May as I initially thought. Faaaaantastic. I didn't realize it was so soon and didn't make any kind of plans for it to re-work my lab schedule and such. Plus side, got some genuinely great news which was then followed by, "oh, and hey, you're now the bread winner of the family. have fun with that" O.o

I can just drop out of school now, right?

I bought a big cat tree for 35 dollars today. Marked down three times from $169. That's how much Petsmart is stealing from people The cat didn't get off the thing for two hours when I brought it home

We are a foster home for a cat, and since she is older we are having a hard time finding a home for her. My heart is breaking because I don't want her to go to the shelter, but my house is too stressful for her. She is fine when it's just me, my hubby and our baby, but when the older kids are home and it's all 6 of us she freaks out and I am worried about her! Poor baby...and she is just an amazing cat...gives kisses and has the loudest purr I have ever heard.

Rant: This is the sixth day I've had a migraine. It just will not go away. I finally broke down on the no-drugs thing yesterday and took some ibuprofen since that one hasn't actually tried to kill me yet. It did a lot of good and I actually felt pretty awesome for most of yesterday, but it started reasserting last night and was definitely present this morning. I was so out of it on Tuesday from pain and lack of sleep that I had to skip a daily paper because I couldn't even conjugate verbs correctly.

Thought: I continue to love my life, just because of small things.
1. There's a toilet in the middle of the quad.
2. When I come out of the psych building after Research Methods, there's this guy on the second floor landing with a ukulele, just singing and playing and sometimes dancing around.
3. It's campaign season, so there's this guy that paces up and down the quad, holding a sign and singing about it. I'm pretty sure he was around last year too.
