This is painful to think about. I did get a black eye once from running into a metal pole.

At the time, our driveway was directly across from it and the surface of the driveway was about two inches above the surface of the road. I rode down his hill, missed my cue to step over the edge of my driveway, and fell forward. Like an idiot, I stuck my hands out in front of me to break my fall. Needless to say, it was a very painful few hours afterwards, followed by several still-but-not-as-painful days. It hurt to grasp doorknobs. It pains me just thinking about it now.

I think she landed hard and jarred her arms, but I want to hear the blindfold, walking into a pole story. Was it a trust game?![]()
Snickiedoo wrote:Yes, it was a trust game. I was blindfolded, then led around the school on a predetermined course (of which I had no prior knowledge) by the voice of another person, my partner. We made it to a ramp going down, and my right hand found the railing, so my partner was like, "Oh, okay. Just follow the railing." Like an idiot, I did just that, without using my hand or anything else to make sure I wasn't about to hit the wall. Lo and behold, I walked at full speed into the brick wall and busted my nose.

Getting a bone broken is a pretty big deal. Did a couch land on your foot or something (or a television)?
Ooh, that reminds me..I accidentally caught a television with my head once. I think I was trying to set it up or something, probably on a fail desk-like surface.
