I just wish my chars could be back in the 600s when RP was more important than game mechanics and the game was awesome instead of okay.
With their partners, of course. If they didn't have their partners I'd just quit.

You know, it's pretty pathetic/just plain weird to apologize or say that you didn't intend any offense ahead of time when you post something that has the slightest possibility of offending someone. It's like you fear you're going to end up insane from all these simple symbols that say bad things to you if you didn't.
Obviously, I do it, and I'm starting to wonder whether if it's actually the right thing to do.

Rant rant rant!
I friggen HATE when you're typing something, you finish, hit the button to say it, and then *boom*, lag sets in. Now it's not lag that's the problem... It's when your cursor gets drawn back to the button by some mysterious force, and you just can't help but click it again, to see if it'll stop the lag.
So you X-out, sign back in, and voila, you've double posted... Which still isn't that but.
But I FRIGGEN HATE when the first bored little player to read it opens his chars mouth and asks "Duh, hey, I'm fucking retarded, so why are you repeating yourself?". It's a game bug, something that can't be helped, and I think it's ridiculous, annoying, and unecesary to be commented on in game.
Same thing goes for spelling mistakes, that when read out loud sound the same. "I was reeding this note" ..... "What's reeding? Some kind of underwater fauna?" My god.
It's just as bad when people make a little spelling error, comepletely unoticable, but they'll go back with an "OOC: Opps! I meant "it" not "i". Oh jee whiz, silly little me."
Honestly, WHY do you have to OOC it? Sometimes people make a slip and mess up their words while they're talking. I do it ALL the time. Friggen go with it, and maybe correct yourself in-character... or try ingnoring it and see what happens. Who knows, you mgiht just make the game a little more fun for all of us.
I think I'll go check my blood pressure, crack a can of coke, and read the paper now.
End of Dylan's ranty-rant-rant.

I agree.
Instead of making an OOC comment, why can't your character change the way things turn out:
Person1 says: I have to go and see where mary tom and judith h ave gotten themselves to. I nude their resources..
Person1 says: Bleck...Sorry, I'm choking on a hair here. "Nude" their resources, *rolls eyes.* I mean need of course. Must have nude on the brain.
And when you make a typo that makes no sense and you're emoting? I don't need to hear about it oocly either. Emotes are emotes. If you make one in an emote, feel free to even retrype the remote again. Or when you say something again later, correct it then, still in an emote.
Person1 says: *Saws, looking down with a furn.* I'm really sorry Ed.
Person1says: *That was, He Sighs looking down with a frown.* If there's anything I can do, please let me know.
To me, those things are far less disturbing than an "OOC Sorry. It. Not tit."
I hate people.

Why did I expect someone to directly respond to my last post when I recently checked this thread? Should I copy this in a new thread in the non-related section and expect to get an answer? Nah. There's a fine line between one who's trying to envoke interesting thought and an attention whore. If I'm going to just post things that all about me, me, me, surely most or all of the viewers wouldn't even take a glance at it.
This is the forums, not some space for my journal entries.
Oh, and I hate my geometry teacher for encouraging me to talk to myself all the time.

When one of yours dies, and no one mentions them....EVER...or mentions being sad about losing em...when you know yours was close to several...>.>
lol

Awkward: Having your phone go off full volume during a funeral.
Even more awkward: Your ringtone being "I Will Survive"
The most awkward: Coming back after a 10+ year hiatus and swearing I'd never come back.
