Anyway, is it alright to CUI (Cantr-Under-the-Influence)?
Opinions?

I've been rather drunken Cantr-playing, and will mimic the prior comments. Nothing stopping you, and I've been known to have a few Psychonaut playing experiences in my youth. RP-wise, nothing stopping you, other than your immersion and whatever strange outcomes happen in-game to your characters if they acted "out of character" or strangely while you-the-player were more "out of character".
Nothing stopping you though, as far as Cantr is concerned, I'm figuring.

I manage to screw up cooking rice today, because I didn't notice the door of the pressure cooking cabinet wasn't closed properly and I just noticed that the number wasn't going down, but I tried to start it over and still it wouldn't work. Took maybe 10 minutes before I asked the teacher if I was doing something wrong. He said he wants to see me cook rice on a regular stove next time since the pressure cooker is apparently too complicated for me at the moment. That made me feel bad because I've used it successfully in the past.

Edit: Bloody hell, now I have diarrhea... >.< My stomach was already hurting around noon but I thought it was just because I was upset over all the screw-ups. Now I've had to poop twice within half an hour.

I had a drunken player do this: His char comes up to mine and shows her his... you know what... That was after she was involved in making some comments about there not being many men around. It really amused me at the time, and the player apologised the next day so all was well. Funny thing is, they got together after that, and umm... Had good fun.

I came very close to doing that myself but stayed away, because I have a couple of very sensitive characters that would have my head if I ruined their perfect little world in any way. Not to mention my absolute hate for loss of control.

My rant today: The tax office that won't provide some much needed info (simple figures) over the phone, promising to send a letter, not doing it and causing me problems with another department of theirs... *sigh* Just try calling them and see how long you'll be on hold for. *puts the phone down*

Okay so last night I tried ERB for the first time, and may or may not have pulled a naughty by playing Cantr high as... ...well, really high anyway.

First, that legal weed is just a whole bunch of shit that someone threw together in a bag. You don't know what's in it, and you don't know what the long-term health effects could be from smoking it. They could have put formaldehyde or any number of lethal chemicals in it to enhance the high. Think about it - if it got you that high by itself, they'd be regulating it. I don't do any drugs other than occasional alcohol use, but if I did, I'd be growing it myself. I don't trust any industry not regulated by the government. If I'm going to get fucked up, I want to know exactly what's going in, and where it came from.

Now, on Cantring while intoxicated - in 9 out of 10 towns, your character would be dead for what she did (yes, I know which character it is) .

I find that I've always played Cantr better when I was high. 19/20 days that I used to spend RPing, I was high. It just feels more intense, that's all xD.

Did it drunk once or twice, but I'm not an idiot when I'm drunk, and mostly just said one or two things then passed out.

Yeah, my main problem was staying focused enough to hold a conversation and read conversations that had already happened. I'm a fast reader, and usually it takes me less than 30 seconds to catch up per character, but last night on one character it must have taken me 10 minutes because my reading comprehension plummeted. I couldn't make my brain comprehend the words in order. T.T

Annoying unless they are really well done and I've only seen one good one. The rest make me shudder. One was partly well done but so insensitive to the real life issues that I couldn't deal.

It depends on why you play. If you're playing for social interaction, they can be endearing if they're played consistently and well. If you're playing to actually -do- something, they're irritating, and best ignored or killed.

I'm very worried lately about the decline in chars and players, but mostly in chars. More and more seem to stop and that makes it less quiet in game and because of that more stop as well. I hope it will stop soon and more players will start.
