I hate it when a player that has had characters that cause other players no end of grief just unsub suddenly before their pain in the ass characters get what's coming to them. There's something wrong with a trail of chaos ending in a heart attack.

That's how you win the game, gotta quit while you're ahead even though it could be anti-climatic. Also getting killed can be anti-climatic if it happens so fast that the bad guy has no time to react unless there was some complicated plot involved.

And then I think about how if you have to emote blinking, that must mean no one does it at any other time, so everyone is like all day long.

I think it wouldn't bother me so much if they were like *Blinks abnormally fast/pronouncedly* or maybe *Does nothing but stare and blink*... but *blinks*? Next time one of you guys write that, I'm outting myself via *Exists*

I'm seriously considering emoting *blinks* to a character I think you play.. Or *breaths, as the blood runs it's course in his veins and arteries. His heart beats every so often and the food he recently ate is digested in his stomach*.

Precisely. Stating obvious things (like breathing or blinking) implies that you're trying to emphasize it, or draw attention to it. Other things are simply informative, simply for the sake of RP.

That's how I interpret the *blinks* too. It doesn't bother me so much, though. Maybe I just don't have chars around those who do that all the time.

I think *blinks* is perfectly suitable to communicate what Seko just described and I see nothing wrong with it.
