I'm not offended by what you said. However, I want you to see the hypocrisy of your words.
Jack and King, you both stated that you are sure my experiences are either disingenuine or a figment of my imagination. My point is you cannot begin to know the truth of that.
Believe what you want, but your opinions on someone else experience should be left alone. Not because they are sacred, but because you commenting on them exposes you as preconditioned to deny God does exist and interacts with people.
Through my life I have faced obstacle after obstacle. I have been told I'm wrong about this or that. I NEVER listen to naysayers, never. When I know something is right and the path is in front of me, I take it everytime.
For anyone out there that has been told you can't do something, or that you're wrong about something that you know is right deep inside, I say, "GO FOR IT". Be a risk taker. Take a big swing at life. Don't worry about being wrong.
I believe in God and His promises outlined in the Bible. These promises give me the confidence to fail, because God will pick me back up. He promised it. As for supposed contradictions in the Bible, I can't speak for those. As for the promises I've personally read, they consistently come true.
Since, the day I believed and out confidence in the Bible, my life has turned into an exciting and awesome adventure! I can tell you stories that would blow your mind. Mine is a story that I only dreamed about as a child. And it has all come true since the day I believed. When life does get rough, I'll have hope for a future, too. A future here and in eternity.
If I'm wrong about my confidence, so be it. If there's no god out there and I'm driven by blind faith, so be it. In the end, I won't know I was I wrong. But, in the present it is the fuel that drives my spirit and my body. Without it I would not be able to drive for the goal like I do today! I'm glad I chose the path I have and I have all the confidence in the world that it was the right one.
