I'm just glad I don't have work or school.... or anything cause tomorrow is gonna SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK.

Ugh, I couldn't fall asleep last night because my sister had company and the a four year old kept kicking me in her sleep, and I don't even know what time I did fall asleep but I woke up too soon. Stupid having to cook a turkey. I don't even like turkey. Though, this is the only "holiday" I actually celebrate so...
Also- Happy Turkey Day to ma fellow Canadians. It's a holiday, but I know you'll be here.

Put in 20 hours unpaid overtime last week, not even a thank you. Actually I was told off..
Decided to enjoy a few pints at a work lunch today after the horror last week, now I feel like a total idiot, as I suddenly need to go and reassure the horse (by torchlight) that her new home is safe, and not going to eat her, which involves driving. Ugh.
BT This Binary Universe is keeping me sane..
Booked a 5 day holiday in my favourite location on the planet, during the most crazy weather available (Kimberley build-up). Just pools, drinking under the stars and outdoor restaurants.. you'll need to drag me away. I've earnt this.

I have a feeling my life will end up as one of those cliché forbidden love stories.

I think I've finally hauled myself out of my depression of the last few months. I now have a fully booked three months of socialising, game industry mixers and a whole shit tonne of work to do on R. Woot!
Hitting the beach tomorrow (forecast is 34 degrees C) with my new CK sunnies, then going for a horseride (first since my injury). Can't wait. Sunday, I'm picking up my camera again (haven't felt creative for the last 6 months) and going for a scenic drive to a historic town known for its wildflowers.

I've been playing Facade, off and on, and that prick Trip keeps kicking me out of the apartment! I respond how I would normally and the dude just... REALLY IRKS ME!
Then I started messing with the two of them and acting in "RP" manners. While doing this I got Grace to leave Trip... Trip to leave Grace and the door shut on me before anything happened.
The best part of that "stageplay" was the look on Trips face.
He was all "Hmmm... okay... bye." Is it wrong to mess with these people's heads like that?
An injury will do those things to ya, chase. Good to hear you are getting up and well.
Its always good to get back on the horse after you have fallen... even if its literal in this instance.

GRACE
Trip, when are you going to get rid of this?
TRIP
What, Grace... this?
GRACE
Yes, you know how I feel about it --
MICHAEL
Hello?
TRIP
I know I know I'll do it right now, alright?!
GRACE
You know I've had to ask you about this several --
TRIP
Get off my back! I'll get rid of it in just a minute!
GRACE
Fine, Trip... fine...
(Trip opens the front door.)
TRIP
Michael!!
TRIP
Hey! I thought I heard someone out here! Great to see you! It's been a while, how's it going?
MICHAEL
I was just masturbating.
(Trip closes the front door.)

Nice! I'm so keen to try Facade. I'll try find the time this weekend. Such a brilliant concept.

Well as you know, it was much more than an injury. Honestly, Rose losing her foal was the majority of it. And never fear - I actually did get back on her immediately after (I couldn't walk, so figured I may as well ride her back - but didn't want to cancel our ride, so I just went trail riding for another hour despite my foot.. yes I'm silly). But yeah, back to riding again nao.. especially now I don't have to ride past the psycho-dogs-from-hell (that try eat your horse), I have bushland at the back gate, even better!.
