You need not worry about that, Officer Joo. Anyhow, we'll be heading to engange the Loire. They know we're coming most likely. I would like to hear your suggestion on our course of action. Of course, I'll be making the final choice.

From the intelligence I have gathered we and this other ship are quite evenly matched - but we have the advantage of an organised fighting force - I would speculate that our trained seamen will easily outmanoeuver the French.

Our priority at the moment should be preparing the sailors and marines for the coming battle: make sure they're on their toes and know what will happen to them if they don't stay in line. Just leave it to me, sir, and I'll have them scrambling like never before.

*He nods towards Joo.*

I want the crew informed that our opponent is a highly trained vessel that has taken out several of our ships. That'll keep them on guard. Don't tell them that it should be an easy win. We'll act as if we will have a tough fight.

I'll leave that to you by the way. I want them training and keeping the ship in line. I also want to remind them that I am more fearsome then any enemy. That'll make them reluncant to disobey my orders or falter, because then they'll remember what'll happen to them when I run into them.

Dog grins as a marine trips on his own feet.
"Ye'll better get your seaman's legs soon, sissy. Wouldn't want to get your shoes wet.." He glares at him for a moment, with obvious contempt for the position and takes a swig from a flask before he turns to the sailors. "You heard the men! Chop-chop, load and fire like the Captain ordered!"
He turns to pie. "Ehm.. Sir, do we really have enough wads and powder to do this every day? If we're to be sailing for several months, I don't think we'll have enough training rations to sustain this."

*nods* They're extra rations. I pulled a few strings. I know people. Now hup hup, time enough today to make our heading and start our mission, I think. *enters his cabin and sits at the other side of a map table, with northern europe, streatching from denmark, western france, and northern england, acrost from three other chairs, and waits for everyone to report.* Have a seat, gentlement.

"Uh.. If you got extra gunning rations, what about food? Do we have enough storing space? And what, exactly is our mission? I wasn't briefed very well. I know that some damn englishmen want us dead, but not much more besides."

(OOC:I am really sorry about this but I am about to go on a 2 week vacation. I shall have no internet acess so I am not able to be a part of this game.)

*a man walks with his arm in a sling out onto the deck and nods to captain CantrFreak* Good morning captain, Mid-Shipman Money reporting to the deck. l am here to report that I was in an accident. A cannon became loose and broke my arm as it barreled across the gun deck. I am no longer fit for sea duty, but no one else was hurt. I am here to request shore leave until such a time as my arm has healed.

*Seeing his marines smart and in dressed ranks, he quietly orders the Sergeant to fall them out, before making his way to the quarter deck and tipping his hat to Captain F*

"Sir, report of our strength. We've a compliment of 30 marines, a sergeant and a corporal, as well as myself. I can assure you sir that they will serve and do their duty in battle as smart as any others you've seen."

*with that, he turns, and shouts to his Sergeant*

"Wilkes, fall the men in, two ranks, facing the port flank *he gestures out to sea.* They will fire a volley on my command!, *more quietly to the captain* With your permission sir, I'd like to put them through their paces."
