Giant Purple Hippopotamus :D

*Ahem* Anyway, following a piece of blatent spam, might I ask just where this argument cropped up from and say in a typical parenting voice "This'll only end in tears you know"

But no, really, what are we arguing about, I'd love to join in

Since this is obviously my fault, because I'm the "complainer," why don't I say something. I personally think that whatever whoever does the investigating seems to me to be decent. I didn't get why I was being blocked, and was why I originally posted that. I feel much better about the fact that my character was killed because I don't have to deal with bad RP-ing. I say, it's a free game and is owned by someone so if you don't like the way they rule the game, don't play the game. They aren't going to suddenly change their minds about this because you decide to be rude to half the continent over this. I believe that you should follow the ruling and don't get so defensive because I agree with everyone against you in the fact that you act like a twelve year old.

And Bush was elected. I watched the electorals on tv.

No.. as far as I'm concerned, he really wasn't. The electoral college shouldn't even count anymore with the technology we have today. But that's another topic.

But I agree with the other things you said. :)

It does, and they like it so we're stuck with so yeah. I don't like a lot of things about the way they do things, but that's here nor there.

Please avoid RE POSTING case information and discussing case info that should not be here in the first place. Again, PD cases are NOT to be discussed on the open forums. If you want to discuss pd policies and how they may be better and such, go for it. But please stop re posting information on specific PD cases.

Sorry, didn't know it was case information. Someone else earlier had put it up and I thought it was okay.

Fuschyou brought up his case, that's how this started. :) It's ok. I just think I get tired of repeating myself after a while. I think I'm actually getting a little grumpy for once just having to repeat myself over and over

It's ok to discuss pd policy as you see it and what can be done perhaps to make it better. Or to discuss whether the pd is doing their job or not and what you think of it...things such as this are fine. But when it comes to specific case information it is not allowed.

Though I have to say I much prefer the compliments to the criticism but I can take criticism very well also and am willing to listen to a players complaints and even discuss them. Doesn't mean the pd policy willl automatically change just because a player doesn't like it but I do like to hear what other players have to say and I do care what they think and even consider it when dealing with specific cases.

You're free to discuss whatever you want about your case. Go ahead. But when you do that, that allows for any of the staff members to point out and show what an idiot you're being behind the scense. For example, if you got caught helping someone you know ooc kill a persons character illigitimately, that information may get told here. If you want to embarrass yourself, go for it. Just know it frees the staff up too, to tell all your dirty deeds if they so wish although they likely wouldn't stoop to such a pathetic level and aren't obliged to entertain you and your dramatic freedom of speech rally.

Of course, if you keep it up, they can block you from the forum too.

I have never known it to be okay to publicly discuss your case in the forum. Not without it being edited. So, yea, you can discuss it but expect it to be edited.

That is and has been Pd's policy. PD cases are private / confidential and are to stay that way whether the player decides they want to discuss it openly or not. Any case discussed on the forums will be edited.

Having heard all that, I just want to echo the current PD's policy regarding this matter.

The PD will not discuss cases in open forum, and all conversations with PD in the cases will remain confidential.

As Missy said, often time, the information gathered in the case, as well as general public's attitude toward information can embarrass the player themselves. And as we have mentioned before, PD is not out to get you, we do not want to embarrass you, we just want to resolve the case as soon as possible.

The PD just about have our hands full with many cases everyday, and we do not need to spend the energy trying to respond to comments from the public when not all the information were present. We do our best to resolve cases as soon as possible, and taking times to answer the forum will only eat away what little free time that all PD can devote to the cases, since we are all volunteers and have other priority in real life as well.

Maintaining such policy for the PD will also let the player feel at ease to explain to us why they breach the rule, since very often, they were due to very simple and embarrassing reasons.

Hopefully, we don't have to visit this topic again. If you have any question or comment, you can always just contact the PD. We will do our best to answer your questions.
