Hey I almost forgot bbout the last thing that annoys me. What is it? Fixing your grammar errors with asterisks.

Eg:

A woman in her thirties says: You're*
A woman in her thirties says: Your great!

Is it so hard to use proper RP and do something like this:
A woman in her thirties says: *she coughs* You are.

or just ignore it and pretend that it never happened :(

It's very very common in some places, especially when there's that guy and a girl and they keep publicly hugging/touch/lick each other for few IG days, non stop.

Your solution only works for when characters speak. When there is an error in your emotes sometimes it's necessary to make the correction this way. Especially if it's an entirely different word (auto correct) or it made the sentence confusing.

I had assumed they were also talking during their wonderful public celebration of romance which is what featured the annoying use of asterisks. I agree that in emotes it's permissable, though undesirable, while with speech it's jarring.

I'm not sure if this quite fits as annoying or puzzling but I've gotten to the point where a couple of my oldest characters (and I've been around quite a while), have gotten to the end of their stories. But it's frustrating trying to figure out when to let them go or how. There is no more progression, ther's no more reason to keep them really. Life goes on around them but they're not involved. And part of that is my own doing because I'm not on near as I used to be. But a lot of it is characters that have died off in their lives, or things that have changed so drastically that they have to change to adapt or be miserable the way they are. And it's hard to know or choose when to finally let them go.

If there is anyone really wakeful in the towns your characters are in, you could give a living inheritance as well as the story of your character's life to the wakeful person. Your character will get to see how those things are put to use and know that their story continues on in a way. Any relationships that form through that process might give your character new purpose and feeling of connection to the current situation so that adapting will happen automatically and in an enjoyable way. If your character doesn't feel a reconnection even after giving the inheritance, then as least they (and you) might get some closure if you decide to let them die.

I hate one of my own characters, I intended to make a stoic character and the result was just really boring, so I tried developing him and the result was still boring but occasionally awkward. And now he's established enough as a personality that pushing him in a new direction would be really out of character.

Sometimes I enjoy playing him because I hate him. But most of the time I just hate him. I'm not the sort to kill off my toons just because I hate them, so he'll just keep living his boring awkward life. Although if real life forces me to downsize my account, he'll be the first to go in the purge.

Rp'ing with someone who shows up in a quiet town only to have them just take off down the road without so much as a word or any sort of acknowledgement whatsoever....grrr.......

I wish domesticated critters who starve in remote areas would drop some bones or un-differentiated meat (aka: Meat, not Beef/pountry/mutton/pork/etc) as if they were wild beasts who got killed... even in lesser doses. ;)

(I do see the potential for abuse though with that, but with small enough values I don't think it can be too sustainable long-term)

More like allow primitive cooking with mutton, beef and pork. That would be a better solution to the problem.

I kind of agree with that... you don't have to be a great cook to burn a piece of meat.
If you have those "special' meats, could you not prepare them in the same way as everyday meat?
It would penalize the cook or person(s) who had raised or slaughtered them, but mutton can easily be as malnutritious as hunted meat?

Cantr design history vs. real life logic: a neverending story.

It's more me than Cantr, but I log out after EVERY time I check on a character, even mid conversation. I got an imaginary 200 minutes to preserve. Old habits die hard.
