Damn southerner...

OK, I'm actually from Essex too. So yeah.

I can't be bothered to type everything out... so here's one I did earlier.

For more detail, my home (or at least, where my parent's houses are) is north west Essex, in the south-east of England, UK. Stansted M ountifchet and Quendon, about 5min drive apart on the same road. Stansted Mountfichet is the (huge) village which the third-largest airport in the UK is named for.

EDIT:

err i live in Great Dunmow, its a sleepy little town which is about 13 miles off chelmsford and about 8 off Stansted airport, if that makes any sense to you...

Dunmow, eh? Not far, then...

No... No, Essex, in the main part, is townie-land. The opposite of posh.

We still, at least those of us who are not townies, apparently have quite posh-soubding accents - in other words, we speak proper english, rather than those northern dialects... :P

North-west essex, where I live (and Floyd for that matter) is almost the upper-class end of Essex.

Oh, and... just because I could:

I've been to England, and I've been to Egypt. They were nice. But I like my east coast. 8)

Yeh. Jedbrough where I live you would probably class as a working class area. Quite a lot of scallies around where I live. I've not done to badly though considering I'm off to Uni.

Mwah ha ha! Nobody can!

Well... there are exceptions. Unfortunately. Or possibly fortunately in the case of certain new players who completely DO NOT GET the game.

*coughs* Ahem.

Welcome back!

No, you're thinking of Sussex. We're all posh down here... :P

Yeah, but seriously... I don't think of Essex as being in the south-east. You're north of London, therefore you are not in the south. That simple. Now Kent, that is south-east.

And Essex is considered as working class by people from Sussex. And Nexcastle... well, that's no better surprisingly.

i think essex is hard to catergorise, there's some very very upper class places, and then there's the complete opposite... meh, to wet to think (dont ask)

Edit: oh and liking the wish you were here quotes, obviously the best album 8)

Some parts of Essex, we're all riding the gravy train... others people are pulling it along and getting nowhere...

Did that make any sense at all?
