I tossed up a 'no' vote, because I think things are fine just the way they are. Other than the already-approved Stone Axe, I think there's enough stone tools as there are.

And the idea of a stone needle struck me as a tiny bit silly.

P.S., a Trowel is used to smooth mortar used to cement stones together in stonemasonry. In this form, the mortar is a gooey sort of paste, and can easily be wiped off of whatever tool you are using to apply it with. The reason they're made of iron is because the metal is both strong and can be worked to be completely flat, thus allowing you to make flat surfaces of mortar. Working with an oddly shaped tool (such as a chipped stone tool) would result in peaks and valleys in the mortar, which would weaken the structure substantially.

I agree with you except for the fact that it would be impossible for female characters to make even the most basic of clothing in the wilderness...which...actually might not be a bad thing. :lol: Bone needles...DELETED! j/k
