This is a question for everyone, how would you explain this statement:

This sentence is not true.

I can explain it. If you were telling the truth, than that would make it so that you were lying, and if you are lying, that would make that sentance true, and if it was true, than that would make it so that sentance is not true, but you're just trying to confus us, and make us ceep on saying this untill you get away with whatever bad thing your doing, so whatever it is, STOP RIGHT NOW!!!

How did you find Cantr?

Why do you keep playing?

What I was saying was not that the Bush does not have the political capital to invade Iran, which he doesn't, (He doesn't have the political capital to sign legislation on washing machines, let alone invade anywhere.) I'm saying that the United States army could not actually invade them.

Any attempt made right now would be an absolute disaster for the United States, militarily speaking, not to mention politicaly.

That is why, as I said, they aren't even consindering it. He may be extremly corrupt, but he's not blind.

The thing is, the president has fooled everyone into thinking he's an idiot, which he is, in fact, not. And there's nothing more dangerous than underestimating your opponent.

I mean, the minimum we pay here for a good car is about $25,000!!!

If it's a used car, the price starts from $8,000...

Just mentioning out of interest, a used car sold from home in the UK can go for £500!

Used cars in shops are much more...

Average new car is about £12500

Are you insane? £12500 can buy you a shitbox, sure. I'd say the average mark is nearer £20k.

lol, that's just the average for a new car here. That's including all the Daihatsu's for £12.5k and the Boxster's for £30k.

I don't actually have a new car myself, i drive an old Porsche 944 which i bought for £5k. But i still like to keep up to speed on new cars, just in case y'know... :p

Christ. People not exaggerating when they say Britain's an expensive place to live.

Car's aren't cheap here, but they're not that bad, either, as far as car price's go.

Buy used. :D I got my car for free, and it's already lasted me three years, with minimal matinance.

I'm looking to get a classic car from the 40's or 50's if I can find one that I fit in, when I start looking for another car that is. Or if I really want to go new(ish) I'd go with a minicooper that's a few years old. Despite being 6'6" I fit in a mini better than almost every other car I've sat in.

Here in Spain you can get a new car for about 15k euros, they have got expensive but they are sold very well (and more every year) so no wonder prices rise, rise, and rise...

On the other hand you can buy cheap used cars. Either that or you spend 5 years paying a car.

Bollocks, if you remove company car sales the average new car price is way below £20K In fact if you remove lease hire schemes (where people pay out monthly for a new car and then it is effectively replaced every 3 years unless they can come up with a substantial lump sum) where the person doesn't own the care either, I bet its even lower...

Have you seen the amount of Boxster's and high-end BMW's on the road? Both are north of the £20k mark, and neither are popular picks for company car fleets due to the fact they're not diesels. Oh and the huge amount of SUV's used for the school run all come in between £15-25k+. But i guess you forgot those.

Going on otr list prices, and on what is popular, it goes like this:

Ford Focus 1.6 = £12900
Renault Megane 1.6 = £14250
Hyundai Santa Fe = £16800
VW Golf GTi = £20300
Mitsubishi Shogun = £22800
BMW 320 = £23400
Land Rover Discovery = £26800
Porsche Boxster 2.7 = £31450

And no i'm not cheating, i picked all the base models.

Depends where you live mate!

Zafira's and Punto's are the sort of cars I see on the road most... I don't imagine its easy to get the figures (I have tried) but the most popular car I see which could knock the average up round here is Chrysler Voyager's for some reason they are the car to have alongside very old BMWs..

The new sales of top end motors like Porsche is minimal in its effect on the whole marketplace...

I guarantee you 90% of BMWs and Mercs are company cars, if only for finacial convenience... BMWs are the new mondeo's in my book!

You're right about BMW's being mondeo's, they're just too dam popular now. I will point out though that the most popular company cars are currently the BMW 320d for reps, and 525d for bosses.
Although the 'reputation' that BMW drivers used to have doesn't exist anymore. Jaguar drivers are the new BMW drivers. :P

Having said all i said previously, as you said it does depend largely on what area of the country you live in. Here in the central south it's mostly new cars similar to the ones i mentioned above.

Well that's the reason, then. You guys talking about BMW's and Porsche. We got Japanese cars, guy. Only people with big money go for those things.

So no one's married, then?
