I think Josephine Sunborn deserves praise for writing a non-plagiarised religion based on IC events and circumstances.

4832-1.18: You hear from radio at freq. 100: "Yes, it would be terribly inconvenient actually, you creepy sphere of flesh. Stay off the radio, and out of this business, we're trying to sort this out."

Praise to Elyos, for inspiring the sentiment, and whoever it was that said this. :D

ANONYS

Shaudawn! The best RP is where you always choose the option that creates the most RP opportunities. You nailed it and I'm so glad.

I'd praise the rest (consider yourselves praised!) but we all know who made this possible.

Dragonloft remains one of the more interesting places. It's great to see everyone adopting a culture that is so radically different from other places in Cantr.

Yes, absolutely. Been an inspiration and big part of my char's life these last IG few years, along with everyone else in that wonderful, crazy town. If I close my account I'm going to miss that place so much.

Praise to all foreigners who try and play on english :) Think every one of those deserve a praise

Oh, what an elaborate way to praise yourself! :D

All the foreigners who try to and succeed in 'speaking' Polish should be praised even more. It always amazes me that they want to put so much effort into google translating everything back and forth. Also, praise to the google translator creators.

I do agree with sherman though. A big part of the liveliness (well, relatively speaking) of the EZ is that we have such a diverse group there.

Unless he's referring specifically to foreign chars, not player... in which case, I may know who he means, and I agree with him there as well, though the praise above still stands.

And Alutka...I have never trusted the translators, seeing the weird results I get from translaring things from other languages to English. It's always frustrated me a little that even if my char hears another language spoken around them for years, their capability for learning it is limited to my own.

At the very least, I wish I could be sure I wasn't embarrassing myself with google translate emotes. Heh, maybe I'll PM you sometime with a list and you can tell me where I've mangled the syntax or have been saying something hilariously inappropriate. :)

This is one of my biggest frustrations for a couple of my characters too. I really wish I had a RL talent for picking up new languages so they could do so, as it would make great sense for them to become quite fluent. However, Polish is such a strange language to an English speaker - it's all the w and z's and j and k's...letters we don't use much, and all jammed up next to each other in a way that makes no sense to our way of spelling

I don't find Google Translate too bad though, there's a knack to using it, reversing what you translate to check it still comes back out the same...and - sherman - making sure to check the 'more translations' bit to avoid calling anyone a donut! (I'm guessing you were trying to call someone 'bud' and used 'pączek'?)

I believe, that for most of Polish speakers it is easier to understand emotes in English than to understand google translate emotes. :D And please remember to put a dot at the end of a sentence while using google translate, because without a dot it gives you a completely different translation, quite often one that doesn't make much sense.
