This is so overdue but, Claire from AH. I heard about you long before I knew you, and let me just say you live up to the hype. Not only does my character enjoy you, but myself as a player, I find you quite unmatched. There isn't anything new or unique about you, per say, and yet you are extraordinary in every sense of the word. I have no direct reasoning or event to point to and yet I adore you. I feel some sorrow for you too, as I know you will do at least one big thing, that people will take for granted. Likely even more. Your name at that time should-but likely won't-be in the history books.

Keep on being you. Seriously.

Full agreement here. :)

It's interesting how people can talk about sex slaves and pirates while elsewhere people talk about business models, currencies and contracts.

A praise to all newspawns who try to adjust into community and don't run away immediately. Now I could give some names but that wouldn't be fair ;)

Avren Banner, I've met her on two characters now and I think she's great, albeit rather exhausting. Before I met her, I saw the wolf picture she had made and I never thought I'd have the pleasure of meeting the artist.

Lion's fantastic too, though Avren really does blather on so much it might be easy to skim past little details like that.

Recently someone praised Jack Johnson. One of the comments pointed out how he is kind of a jerk though. Reading through my logs I noticed all the mean comments he made in presence of my characters and so here I am. Thanks for playing such a jerkwad. Hopefully others will loosen up and start exploring the grey areas of social interaction as well. After all, there's plenty of ways to be mean, but not all of these ways improve the story.

RIP.

I remember that. I was confused why miirk was talking about him being a well-RPed jerk like that was a bad thing.

Only had a character cross paths with Jack twice and barely interacted with him, but he still made a memorable impression.

I wouldn't even say he was a jerk, I just remember he had sort of gruff way of speaking that really made him stand out from the normal saccharine sweetness of most Cantrians.

I remember Jack as a real man's man, a refreshing change from the majority of characters in this game. He treated his woman well, spoke his mind, and made his own way in the world.

Rest well in peace.

Earl Scott was explaining the Buffalo War and told him about the greatest fighter of all time, Maisie Skullsmasher (whom I already praised long ago for her inadvertently hilarious emotes involving mouflon udders). One day she punched a wolf and actually killed it in one hit. Naturally he said Earl must've gotten the Skullsmasher against his head.

He had a big enough heart. I think at one point he was questioning his style (colourful African tribal clothes of silk) to which Earl said something like "what do you know about fashion, old man!" and he laughed. Could've used that as a "get out of my town" but instead he gave them a van.

Naturally I'll take that over another person's threat to "fall asleep instead of listen to this crap" which seemed like an OOC response to me. But who can blame them?

Yeah, I loved his relationship with his wife especially when she disliked someone he liked. It was a very interesting dynamic with the others present.
