Currently, what annoys me is that I can't yet play xD I keep refreshing my mail, hoping to see that my account is reactivated... Oh, how hard it is to be patient... ;)

I did, by the way, play far more female characters than male. Somehow I just didn't get the personalities right with my male chars...
Don't remember where I was - I realized life was a game - The more seriously I took things - The harder the rules became

Or try to make a new account - that usually works for me. They'll notice you have an old one and reactivate it.
For some reason they notice that faster than just emailing for reactivation.

When there's a player you really like and you like all their characters but then they completely stop playing your favorite one, who your character is very close to or in love with, unlike the others, and even though you know they have stuff going on in real life, there are days when they seem to play all day - but not the character you're waiting for, only all their others. And so you want to get rid of your character - the only reason you're keeping them is for this character anyway but their player never wants to play them. But also, you love all their characters so much and respect them so much that you just feel too guilty to kill yours off, and lose one of those connections even if it is empty and dead already, so you're stuck with this depressed, pining character that is no fun to play, and no empty slots... it's really disheartening...

It's always puzzled me how some people will spawn with such professionally cut and styled hair. There must be a really nice salon somewhere on the Other Side.

Sorting through old Cantrian songs, also known as "why the hell did a song copied from the internet spawn such an enormous religion".

Same here >_< I'm holding off getting my account reactivated until my exams are over and planning characters in a level of detail that will almost certainly be instantly shattered by where/how they spawn. I miss the green world though I don't regret leaving when I did.

(Do returning players end up in the intro server?)

Nope, not if you're having an account reactivated. That intro place only comes into play when a new account is made and lasts until the account is approved.

So pickups by definition have the following two parts: a cabin and a truckbed. Some cabins are three-across and some have (very cramped) backseats. And then there also obviously the truckbed, which is typically open.

My question is why the mechanics seem to suggest that only the cabin of the pickup exists. Only three people can fit inside and the carrying capacity suggests cramped quarters, which suggests the cabin. Why can't we pile more things in the truckbed and still fit three people in the cabin? Isn't that one of the main points of a pickup?

Unless we're suggesting that only one person can fit in the truck cabin and the other two people plus all the cargo would be piled in the truckbed.

Good point. You'd think it'd hold at least as much as a small van, seeing how it's even more expensive. And realistically it should hold quite a bit more...one of the whole point of tucks is to be able to haul more and bigger things than other vehicles.

But as for passengers, two in the cab and four in the back would be easily doable IRL and not even a tight fit. I've been wedged in the cab with two others, and seen a truck with six adult men plus a large dog riding around in the back.

These new trucks might have that much room, but when I was young, getting two kids in the back of one was enough of an accomplishment. I always assumed we were dealing with the more classic pickup design in Cantr. And that our characters are all too worried about safety and traffic cops to have anyone ride in the truckbed.
