What Seko said. I'm a big fan of ellipses and have no problem when they're used to indicate a pause or hesitation, which is why I specifically mentioned abuse. In this case, they aren't used in any rational manner (including sticking a random two periods after a question mark) and are regularly included in emotes.

If you hate ellipses, then your hate may be directed at me. I use them a lot, but to show hesitation or pausing.

Comy wrote:Characters that abuse ellipses. What... did the ellipses.. ever do.... to you?.. (I'm looking at you, Lexi Mal, Jessa Fox, Jinxy Jones, etc)

So you would rather prefer...

example A: Hmm...I get what you are saying...but...is it really necessary?

or...

example b: Hmm *pause* I get what you are saying *pause* but *pause* is it really necessary?

I choose A, as it looks cleaner (textually of course) and isn't nearly as distraction as *pause* continuously.

I think it has been clarified that only the abuse of ellipses is a probelm. :)

I know the bad/lazy typing thing has already been beaten into the ground, and I know she's already been mentioned a couple of times, but Zjira, good lord.

It's even more annoying because she could actually be an interesting character otherwise.

You know what really irritates me?! Characters who use proper spelling, punctuation and grammar! OMG Just die all of you perfectly played characters with well-developed, interesting personalities and picturesque emotes.

Shh... I'm using reverse psychology because I have a feeling one or more players have decided to spawn some who purposely do everything listed in this thread. So funny guys.

Oh yeah, major annoyance...and yet, slighty amusing...but only slightly. Lol

Ugh. Not even happening to my character, but the act of watching someone force rp (you know, rping like 5 things in one post without giving the other player a chance to respond/fight back to any of the five things-just deciding because you want to , you're apparently superhuman and theyre barely moving) is just disastrous. I feel bad for the playervictim
