Like, I don't know if I should be saying this in the forums like this, but Gimp is almost seventy and spawned where Zelder lives, until recently only leaving to chop wood and get coal and such! lol

Most of my chars were pretty dull and soulless until I started getting on the forums and stopped being such a pure simmer.

Re: The Dead Character Thread
I just went through my turn reports. My character has heard of Gimp, but he has never met him. Ever. But now we're getting off-topic.

Re: The Dead Character Thread
Zelder was given multiple chances to save himself. Sometimes, I think players use bad situations as guilt-free ways to kill off old characters they can't bring themselves to kill on their own. I never knew him before, so I don't know if being a stubborn bastard was part of his normal personality.

Re: The Dead Character Thread
I figured. I didn't get the full story, but I've generally known the killer to be pretty good about that sort of thing and giving chars an "out". I as a player, am not angry or upset about it, but that still doesn't mean I won't miss him dearly. Gimp, on the other hand, might have been less understanding and I really don't want to think about how he would have reacted, so I'm just glad he wasn't around to.
I would appreciate it though if someone could send me a more full account of what actually happened if someone could PM me, if that's acceptable. I hate knowing only bits and pieces.

The only dead character of mine to not die of starvation on the road between ghost towns was poor ol' Irish. Killed by his own over-zealous tongue on an island I cant remember the name of (Burgeon or something?).

On behalf of the town, he was given many many warnings to stop it while he had the chance and the boss was sleeping. By the time he retreated he had gone too far.

He was... but he'd not have been in-character if he stopped any earlier *lol* He should've just stayed where he was appreciated instead of seeking glory on the high seas
