Go Australia!
One gold and one bronze, whooo! I think all that support and all that true Aussie training earnt us that gold...plus the fact that he was Canadian for most of his life...
Honestly, it's nice that we've won gold but I think we are sorta cheating since he only moved to Australia a couple of years ago. Though it still doesn't beat that time our speed skater won only because everyone else in front of him fell down. Now that was a moment to remember...

Wish I could've seen that one!
We're in second! Go U.S.! We're finally beating the Russians (only to begin losing to the Germans...well, there's still a day or two left (Olympics end Sunday, by the way (in the U.S., would it be different in Australia? Or are you on our side of the international date line?)))!
Back when the Olympics were in Salt Lake, near where I live, my brother had the pleasure of seeing international trade between America and Russia: his teacher (it was a field trip) and a russian guy traded pins without speaking the same language. You couldn't do that in Cantr, at least not without a bunch of annoying *s.

The hockey game was a bit disappointing, the Russians had a couple of good situations but there was never any real feeling of danger. At least in the US game they managed to get 3-4 and there was the question could they turn it into a tie before time runs out, so the exitement stayed all the way to the end. But this time the Russians couldn't get a goal in even when they had 5 against 3 powerplay. It was rather funny when that Russian guy with long hair (I'm terrible with names) lost his nerves and punched a Finn in the face.
