just seems useless. if you are going to have an elaborate way of calling for help, and you have access to a kiln and such, why not just make a radio?

Not yet, though I seem to remember hearing that big ships will soon be able to have rooms, allowing radios to be built.

That was the explanation for why a van can house a radio reciever, but a galleon can't.

Yes, that is the case and they will be on their way relatively soon on the cantr timescale (aka in a year or two) :wink: j/k

As soon as rooms on ships are finished I think we can start finishing up the radio implementations.
