Anything you would used a note for IRL.

Notes are better for communicating complicated things since the length of time you can see your own events is short.

I am sure you've seen the advertisements, laws, citizen's lists, newspapers and maps.

There is also portraits and other art (after you've given us the GIF/JPG to store).

Patience is what you need to have in order to:

*Play a game of chess against me.

Who said I'm good at chess? But i CAN kick your brother's ass. Just bend over. No trouble therre.

Is this topic still an option? I'm in a situation where there are a few people talking and a few that don't need to hear. In a realistic situation, the three (or four or whatever) of us could simply go to one area slightly away from the others and talk quietly, and they wouldn't hear us.

The building suggestion is great for those who've played for a while and aren't travelling. (I finally completed a building with one of my characters, but he'll likely travel in a group and want to talk to only them when they go.) The reality is though that the general public who may not have a building, or people travelling, would still be able to act as I describe above, unless there are some physics of sound in Cantr I don't understand. :wink:

I wouldn't bump the topic, but it seems that four of my characters have suddenly become much more interesting/active, and repeating phrases for two of them for something that they would easily pull off a small group to talk to seems to both eat up my time and annoy others. Okay, honestly I'm more concerned with my time, as there's no way around the situation at this point, but I wondered what the status of this was. Thanks!

Ah, so the status in Cantr is much in real life: The "haves" don't want to be bothered by the "have nots". :wink:
