There is no "Russian Windows 1252". The charset for Russian is Windows-1251 (Cyrillic characters used by Russians, Bulgarians, Serbs...). You tried windows-1252, which is for Western European languages (English, French, German, Spanish etc.) using Latin scripts.SekoETC wrote:Funny thing, when I tried viewing this page in Russian Windows-1252, it didn't work. Can anyone fill me in on how to change the encoding? I've recently landed in a Polish area and, even though I don't know any Polish, I'd like to see the characters instead of [] in the middle of words.
