Granted, the sandwich appears, however so does several hundred starving Africans who steal it and infect you with ebola.

I wish I was officially recognised as a full subspecies.

Granted, you are now officially recognised as a full subspecies. Being the only one of your kind, a hunter kills you, takes you to a taxidermist, and then sells you to the local museum. You are placed next to a rather interesting display about the evolution of turnips.

Granted you are immersed in a buffer solution. Shame it eats away at your flesh destroying your body. But the temperature is fine.

Your skin turns striped with pink and light green and every time you open your mouth, rainbow-coloured bubbles come out. Also when you fart, it sounds like a brass instrument. And you can't help farting a lot.

Granted. Your summer job is great and honourable, though only pays a dollar a day. It's just a shame that your dignity is totally destroyed by that libellous new article about you in the local paper.

I wish I never forgot to go to meetings that I was meant to go to.

Granted, but all you're allowed to watch on it is dreadfully boring and poorly acted educational series. And still you don't learn anything from them.

I wish I'd never get warts (again; I had 3 to 5 in elementary school but I only remember the exact placement of three)
