It wasn't like that. It was an immediate and intentional complete swing in personality, and badly roleplayed at that. I saw it separately with both characters.

A character who sails in and randomly kidnaps and kills certain other characters with no in game motivation what so ever... Strangely enough the players other chacters did have reasons to fear the said certain other character though...

Very bad RP in my opinion.

None of my chars ever did meet Queen Nora - but I have encountered the other two. I'll have to agree with the posts above - Starlyn went from nice, generous lady (she was "very old" but was always played as a young woman, always thought being with a 20 year old man was strange) to crazy/angry/madwoman overnight.
As for Sabine, I have nothing nice to say. I guess I never encountered a nice Sabine...only ever saw her overreact and act like Stalin Only ever saw her needlessly lock up and starve people.

Whats so strange to old chars being with young ones? We all know there are not many old ones to be found just like that who is free. Its how the game is. Most of my chars are with younger women. And why is it bad rp to play your old char as young? As there is no dead of old age, its assumed that chars don't really age. You want people to be forced to play them as old?

And why are you sure there wasn't a reason chars get angry?

My character loved Sabine like an Aunt. He was around her his whole life, so he had ample opportunity to see "nice Sabine". But she certainly was interesting when she swung the other way! "Needlessly" lock up and starve people? Well, that's your opinion.

...a nice person and then a blood thirsty killer with absolutely no remose at an insult. It was poor roleplay and very ridiculous.

I have a char like that: one little thing sets them off into violence but very helpful and kind otherwise. Another of mine could be considered "two-sided" but only verbally (ie: chewing someone out one minute then asking them if they're having a nice day the next). Guess I'm a ridiculous, bad role-player too.

Edit: The age thing has been discussed over and over... Some of my chars may show signs of aging, others won't. I don't even consider age in Cantr to be of importance in most cases. Granted, my chars would probably be more willing to trust someone older than a newspawn, but even then assuming can be a deadly mistake.

If all of your characters I came into contact with did that same thing, then yes I would assume you a ridiculous bad roleplayer too.

I also have a char like that. Alexander Balor. And a few others perhaps. That you don't see the reason why someone is angry doesn't mean there isn't one. And it's cheap to say without knowing anything else that it's bad rp.

When two characters act almost identically and for no apparent reason it's fair to assume that its OOC influenced, really. If the player can present some solid valid evidence to why those two characters both featured the exact same random bouts of violence I will wholly and gladly accept it, but I suspect there is none.

As for Zara in Dory...my character thought the world of you and since your death he has become little more than a walking husk

Alright, now that I have a chance to actually sit down and write this... from my char's point of view.

Heian - You were the one that I would go to when I had a problem, or a question. I know that we weren't as close as we used to be after Jo died, and then I was trying hard to help you remember everything and I apologize for getting frustrated with you. There are lots of things that I wish I could go back and change knowing that the time we had together wasn't going to last. You were a great father to Jo and also to me. You will be missed.

Robert - You were there to comfort me after Jo passed away. I depended on you and was never let down. During that trip you took me on, we became very close and it was in Dory that I told you that I loved you.. even though at that time I knew I probably shouldn't have. The conversation we had when we got back.. we were in my room sitting on the bed.. We told each other that we loved one another but the relationship we already had, we didn't want to ruin. I wish I could go back in time and take back those words because I wanted to be with you for the rest of my life. Watching you fall at my feet was the last thing my heart could handle. I will never be the same without you. You are forever loved.
