The above is just one of the projects set up like this inside of "The Rose" in Blaman Mountains South - wouldn't that be sabotage? It would take ages to gather that much resources.

If not, ok.

He's in his thirties. He set up lots of projects with 1 gram, too. But um.. how are you supposed to make lots of projects with just one machine? :P ;)

If there's just one machine to use that resource and he wanted to get rid of it all (usually they do that when they know they're going to die) then of course he's going to use all of the material on it.

It prevents others from using that machine. It's a project of 80 days for making iron. :S That'll take ages to collect.

Oh and would " Stone extension -bvnvnvb- " be sabotage? :S

I don't think building projects count as sabotage anymore. But machines can be unblocked if the people on the region don't have the resources to fill the project requirements in order to finish it.

In Puk there is a smelting furnace project:

Initiator: is not here anymore (1939-7)
Progress: 0.0 percent
Days required: 80
Project type: Manual
Materials: iron ore (2000 grams used of 67200 grams needed)
coal (0 grams used of 44800 grams needed)
limestone (2000 grams used of 140000 grams needed)
Objects:
Tools:
Quantity: 28000

I don't think whoever started it is planning on finishing it considering the project was set up over a YEAR AND A HALF AGO

I tend to think not since more than a small amount of resources was used on the project. Could've been a newspawn's accident.

Can't fix shit when the db access is down, and besides, it would be possible to clear the machine in-game although it would require years worth of resources and labor. One of my characters once made a max sized hematite crushing project intended as sabotage and we had to clear it out in-game.

Perfect example of why we need projects to expire.

I agree. It would also help the db from getting too cluttered.

Are obscene messages on buildings considered CRBs? I don't see why. As long as there was an in-game reason for someone to call it that, there shouldn't be anything wrong with calling a building whatever you want.

If the person was actually planning to finish the room, then it could be okay (although some people might argue against allowing obscenities in signs since they cannot be instantly concealed). But if they aren't going to finish the project, it's considered asshattery. There are generally two reasons why someone makes a project with an offensive name, one, that their character has been imprisoned what the player finds unfair, is mad so they end up blowing all their resources on useless projects and leaving permanent messages. Two, a thief, probably a newspawn, picks up some stone or wood and gets hit over it, they think their life is ruined and leave some rude messages while getting rid of stolen resources.
