I've been quite excited lately because we released our first game at work a couple of days ago. Multi-World Racing for iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch if you want to check it out (the first two levels are free).

Re: Thought or Rant of the day!!!
I don't mean to be cranky or whatever. But here's a short doseage of reality:
We are never going to be able to reform combat in either direction.
This issue is almost worse than the gun rights issue in the US right now. It seems most people here think combat is too fast-paced and want to slow it down, but we can never agree on HOW to slow it down because around 70% of the polling population here thinks the proposed changes make it too slow-paced, and then we end up with a Cantrforum equivalent of a filibuster between the original suggester with his/her few supporters and the other 70%.
If we were to bring a few of the combat reform options and put them in a one-option poll with the current system also as an option, I wonder which would receive the plurality vote. My guess is on the current system because that's all we have to compare it with.

Cantr Rant:
What is it with all these much weaker than average, awkward hunters and fighters trying to start tiny outposts in the wilderness? Don't you people realize you're not physically up to the task, and that any newspawns that borrow your terrible genes will be the same?
...I'm not a power gamer or anything, in a more settled town I'd try to make such a character work, but in this situation I can only see starving them as doing a service to their community.

Oh marian... You bring back great memories of the lost cantr-rant topic... Which is locked because it was too negative or something.

In fact it is a challenge to make those characters work, Marian. One of the few real challenges in the game...
I think ...

25 years ago today, my best friend made a horrible mistake.

She married a bad boy loser.

25years later, she is still my best friend and I wanted to wish her a happy anniversary here on this forum that she will never read.

Happy anniversary! (Although I'm probably one day late... It's the thought that counts, right?)

I am really starting to devellop a g***amn pissing hatred to this new way of posting... Nothing's changed apart from those damn annoying clean-upscripts. They log you out, and usually you'd go back to the log-in screen, press 'back' and still have what you typed. But now... Here it comes.
You press 'talk to everyone' and get a lovely pop-up saying "something went wrong" and EVERYTHING YOU TYPED is gone. I usually look at the time to see if the cleanup is near yet, but that doesn't always work.
This is the the third damn time I lose text I had been working on for a bloody half hour. Please fix it, or let me go back to the old way of posting because this generally ruins cantr for the afternoon for me, I loose the mood to play every time.

Yes, please, is it anything that a technodummie like me could do to prevent that from happening? Or just the old "try to remember writing the post out of cantr and copy-paste it"?
