I am in my house's loft right now. It is at least 115 degrees in here, with nothing but a tiny fan circulating the already hot air around the room. I could go downstairs, which is slightly more tolerable, but that would mean dealing with family. Or, I could go into my not-sister's room and blast /her/ air conditioner in there, but then I would be raged at when she gets home. ISNOTFAIR.

My dad's home, and we're waiting for the AC people to come out. I could go get a shower and be nice and comparatively cool when I get out, but that's over as soon as I dry off. I could ask my neighbors if I could go jump in their pool, but I haven't spoken to them in years and that'd be an awkward conversation. I could go to the nearest ice cream parlor and eat ice cream, but I'd have to leave my dad here (to greet the AC people) and my mom hates it when I go out alone. So I'm stuck here with a fan that doesn't even blow air into this room and wet towels.

Here there's 16ºC outside (around 60F if I'm not too wrong). I'm wraped in a blanket. Probably my inner thermostat is broken, because I'm frozen.

Okay, it's raining so hard here that it's coming in around my (too old and very crappy) window. Only comment of my roommate: Well, the floor needed to be scrubbed by now, anyways. Why not do it at 3am, when the water is provided for us?
