My favorite Indian bands have Punjabi or Hindi names, and so I cannot tell you them what they are.

2. Annamika and Malkit Singh are both Hindi names - but are possible to write, at least somewhat phoenetically, in English - as with most of the Hindi Language

This was HF saying the same thing to schme that I said, only without the potentially Pie-confusing "baby Jesus" reference.

1) Baby Jesus did not actually invent transliteration

2) However, it WAS invented, for the express purpose of approximating in English words written in foreign alphabets, such as Hindi.

Anyway, "Baby Jesus" is a sarcastic term some people use to poke fun at the American Christian right-wing evangelicals.

There was a parody site on the internet that said when you do bad things, it makes Baby Jesus cry.

And since then people generally, when they want to make fun of the conservative christian right-wing (or so-called "Red States") attribute things to Baby Jesus that obviously have nothing to do with him.

Now, I grew up with very conservative evangelicals, and that's my background and to some extent still a part of me, but I do enjoy poking fun at it.

Again, ignore Pie, and I'm sorry for my somewhat lame attempt at humor.

Oh, and Pie, the language of the Roman Empire was Latin, and while many people in the Empire could probably speak it, or a pidgen version of it, most people spoke their local language, and very few people could write it, or any other language for that matter.

Have you considered looking into some of the pagan drumming music out there? Alot of the more recent stuff has modern drums as well. I can't really recommend anything in particular, I just think its good when I go to some of the meetings.
