All partly filled glasses are a part of the whole capacity of the glass. The volume cant be half empty, as in half of nothing.
His glass is just as half full as yours, if you have the same glass and various other factors.

Technically, all glasses are full as there is air in whatever part of the glass doesn't have water/other fluid inside.

Air itself is not a liquid. But, when we look from which oxygen is created from. There's that Hydrogen, which can be qualified as liquid as it is chemical element, affecting to water, fire and oxygen. Hydrogen alone in the wild appears as a liquid.

this just in. 2013 has been cancelled, halleys comet has been spotted and is on a direct collision course for earth. we are expected to be smashed to oblivion in 4 days. if this update becomes popular and believed then the earth really is full of fools so foolish, the earth would probably end anyways
