On the topic of clothing, especially for my female characters, it seems funny to me to wear half an outfit. I would rather my characters go with no item of clothing then just a top, or for a female just bottoms, though some of my characters feel differently. And the idea of wearing other items before clothes is amusing, although I have one char who wore jewelery before clothing, but I, the player kept giggling when I looked at her description.

In some towns though, my female chars became desperate for basic items of covering due to the comments they received about the lack of them and further unwanted innuendos that came about. In two cases, clothing stopped the harassment!

The most amusing of all though, is the number of strong, semi-sophisticated characters running around in just a pair of cotton briefs. No names, but guys, get some clothes, spend your dosh, you can afford it! (and no, I'm not drumming up business)

Off Topic:
I just made a ton of images for my Cantr characters on FarmVille, of all places.

Just-Slightly-More-On-Topic-Than-The-Other-Statement:
When Cantr has been down for over a month, I play FarmVille…and I remember why I'd stopped in the first place.

On Topic:
I have a character who for awhile wore nothing but a feathered cloak until he finally got around to making himself a pair of pants. Later, he went and made a feather skirt for one of the guys in the town who was making jokes about how pretty feathers were.
Another one of my characters has never worn a piece of clothing worth mentioning ever.
Snick takes random freebies as they're offered to her—where do you think she got the skirt she wears nowadays?
Two of my characters received full-body clothing within a few days of spawning.
Yet another was given some simple clothing, which was later followed up with a much nicer dress (which she finds hot and itchy, but you don't hear her complain).
Finally, my Fu Island character went around "wearing nothing worth mentioning" for awhile because 1) there weren't very many clothing resources, 2) most of what resources there were required processing with machinery to make clothes out of them, and 3) it took her forever to gather enough reed to make a shirt with (collecting is definitely not her strongest point).

I miss Cantr so much. I can name almost everything my characters are wearing right now…but I'm not going to demonstrate at the moment because it is late here and I'm really tired.
